The CARBEL RI With Base range is a freestanding slow combustion fireplace line with RI60, RI70, RI80 and RI100 models, a 150 mm flue size and output options from 10 kW to 15 kW.
The Carbel RI With Base range keeps the non-embedded character of the RI line while giving the fireplace a grounded, furniture-like stance in the room. It is suited to layouts where the look of an insert is wanted without committing to large-scale masonry work.
The RI line is designed as an insert-style fireplace but is metal-lined like a stove, allowing it to deliver convection heat while retaining the practical benefits of a slow combustion wood burner. Optional installed fans are available to support heat movement through the room.
This range offers flexible installation possibilities across the RI models, including placement against a wall, over a firewood compartment, on a decorative bench line, or on an iron pedestal, depending on the selected configuration. The RI60, RI70, RI80 and RI100 models use a thick 6 mm outer body. Beware of locally produced imitations which are not European certified or tested; their heat ratings and efficiencies cannot be confirmed.
